Wrote... Hiya Matt & girlsI find it so hard to believe it's been over a month since returning from my Queensland road trip with my aussie friend Pamela. I miss it all so much. It was great staying at the Epiphyte Rainforest Retreat as i've been calling it. I'll never forget my close encounter with 'scamp' the rainforset mouse and Matt thank you so much for the natural aloe vera for my rather red back. What a wonderful cirlce it turned out to be!!! I have a permanent reminder of my Rum Runner Reef Tour, great stuff! Hope all is well in the beautiful Daintree. Just about finished all of the tasty Daintree Tea I bought. Amy :o) & Pam

Wrote... This is a wonderful place to stay for people who need to relax and escape from the rat races that our cities have become. It is possible to enjoy your stay without a car, however, if you want to be able to explore a bit more of what the Daintree and Cape Tribulation have to offer, I would advise you to bring your car, or rent one in Cairns. The bus service for transport to and from Cow bay is good, as was the transfers for the Rum Runner cruise to the GBR. Bring some supplies with you and then sit back, relax and let Mat and his friends, and the rain forest, weave their magic. One more thing. I saw "Nemo" out at the reef but Illeana didn't and she was pissed off about that, I'm tellin' ya.

Wrote... Matt. Sorry for being so long to write this. We had a wonderful time staying at your place, Thankyou very much. We took your advise on where to go in the tablelands. Yungaburra was beautiful and spending the night at the pub at Irvinbank was very interesting. Night tours of the Irvinbank cemetary are on the drawing board, which I think would be worth going back for. We managed to leave your brochures scattered at quite a number of different locations as we headed south. Thanks again for your hospitality. We'll be back one day.

Wrote... Matt, - Thanks for a wonderful stay this August - for our family it was a perfect blend of homeliness, comfort and good value. It was wonderful being able to experience the whole rainforest experience without having to live within a darkened environment as seemed to be the case with much of the other local accommodation sites. As you know, Carol is now attached to the healthy Daintree tea - the UK customs officers seemed happy that we had brought home 2000 bags!! May be after more soon!Hope to see you all again in the not too distant future.Peter, Carol, Sophie, Rosanne, Elizabeth PS Did the gilrs achieve there sponsured speling targats?

Wrote... Dear Matt, thank you for the fabulous stay in your wonderful house. Now it is already 3 months ago that we could enjoy your hospitality and collect enormous impressions in the Cape Tribulation region. Yet, surfing your homepage it seems like yesterday. Thank you again, we can honestly recommend your B&B to everybody planning a trip to Australian Queensland. (And believe us, we know how to appraise such hospitable surroundings as we are operating something similar - the only difference: instead of the Australian rainforest it is located in the Austrian Alps (www.hauslassnig.com).All the best,Markus & Christiane
